Q6.1 How do I get experience points (XP) and character points (CP)?
You gain these from successful melee combat, and from certain other related
actions.
Q6.2 I'm level 33! Why do I still get experience?
You can gain CPs even after reaching level 33. But you will never gain
another level unless you multiclass.
Q6.3 How do I multiclass?
To multiclass, you need to be level 33. By the time of multiclassing, you
also need to have found and killed a mobile called "A Mysterious Figure" -
more commonly referred to in the game as "tokenboy". This is because he
has a token which when looted enables you to multiclass at certain
designated non-player characters. Find the relevant non-player character
(finding them is a challenge in itself). Be in the same room with the
token in your inventory, and type MULTI to multiclass.
Q6.4 What skills do I retain after multiclassing?
When you multiclass, you retain all the skills of your previous class,
subject only to meeting the level requirement for such skill in your new
class. Thus, a skill which you could only use when you were level 10 in
your old class will only be accessible to you when you get enough XP to
reach level 10 in your new class.
Q6.5 How do I find out more about multiclassing?
HELP MULTI and HELP MULTICLASSING.
Q6.6 How do I find out more about the subclasses available?
The subclasses available are as follows:
Mercenary, Ranger, Paladin
Bard, Rogue, Assassin
Necromancer, Illusionist, Warlock
Monk, Shaman, Druid
Type HELP (name of subclass) for more information.
