The Cataclysm of Mankind
D
uring the first age of mankind did greed and evil spread across the
lands of Necromium infecting both the soul and spirit. Even among the gods
did this sickness take hold and many of the first immortals disappeared,
including Demigo who sank into the ocean, never to be seen again. It was then
that a handful of gods looked down on the world and cried great tears that
salted the seas and caused a great rain that blocked out the sun across all
the lands.
In anger, BoneZ looked down on the world and began to destroy much of
which he had helped to create. All the possessions, wealth, and treasure
that had been looted by the mortals was taken and destroyed. The enslaved
lands were set free and many of the first ones left Necromium, never to be
seen again. It was a sad time, and as the tears of mortals mixed with
those from the gods. The end of the world seemed at hand.
It was in this time that the bravest of the mortals set out in wooden
ships to cross the seas and seek out new treasures in the far corners of the
world. The others, broken and poor, set out again in their adventures seeking
to reclaim that which was lost. The world calmed, and the rains soon stopped
but the scars of the great cataclysm remained. So it was that the first age
came to an end.
